Lindsay M. Barton

Lindsay M. Barton is an Associate focusing her practice within the field of Family Law and has extensive civil litigation experience.

 

Ms. Barton graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While at Berkeley, Ms. Barton was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority and had the fortunate experience of living and studying in Spain where she gained command of the Spanish language and exposure to its cultural, political, and legal systems.

 

Ms. Barton received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During her tenure at Loyola, Ms. Barton was distinguished as top oralist and top competitor brief writer for the Scott Moot Court Team.

 

Ms. Barton practiced law in California for four years before making the transition to Virginia. She still maintains an active attorney license for the state of California in addition to holding an active attorney license for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

Ms. Barton’s litigation experience includes legal research and writing, client meetings, depositions, law and motion, discovery, mediations, trial preparation, and serving as a Counselor of law.
